The Legislative Council Building

By evisa  |  June 04, 2019

Being one of the finest neo-classical architecture in Hong Kong, the building was built as the Supreme Court between 1903 - 1912. The building consists of arcades and loggias of granite and columns topped by a blindfolded female holding a scale in one hand and a sword in the other that is a traditional depiction of justice. Now, it is home of Legislative Council of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is the haven of freedom. The freedom of speech, expression, religion and though can be enjoyed. Sittings are held here every Wednesday when Legislative Council is in session and are open to the public by reservation.
